

Soledad "Sally" Gonzalez-Leyva passed away on August 8, 2012 to be with our Lord. Sally was born on October 18, 1925 in East Chicago, Indiana and parents were Avila Maria and Jose’ Gonzalez. She was a very loving and caring mother to her six children. She has eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. When living her time in East Chicago, Sally was very active with the Cursillo Movement and other church events. When moving here to Florida, she attended Calvary Church with her daughter. She was a woman of great faith, loved to serve others, dance, sing and be around her family. Sally will be missed by her family and friends. Leaving behind are her children; Tony and Linda Leyva, Port Orange, Fl., Sandy (Leyva) Gamble, Moberly, Mo., Mark Leyva, Highland, In., Lisa Leyva, Maitland, Fl., Thomas and Aleisa Leyva, Matthew and Rosa Leyva, San Jose, Ca.; Grandchildren; Dawn and Rich Mendez, Scott Leyva, from Kissimmee, Fl., Andre’ Gamble, Jessie Gamble, Nick Gamble all of Moberly, Mo., Jana Gamble, St. Peters, Mo., Sgt. Mark Leyva Jr.,U.S. Army, Alexandria, Virginia and Tom (TC) Leyva from Haines City, Fl.; Great Grandchildren; Josh, Mariah Mendez from Kissimmee, Fl., Jabri, Dyawna Gamble, St. Peters, Mo., Katlyn Leyva, Monticello, IN. Also former husband, Anthony (Tony) Leyva, Highland, In., one brother and spouse, Joe and Aurora Gonzalez, Lowell, In., and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Monday August 13,2012 at 10:00am until service time.
