Alleen Tootsie Marie Spencer

ALLEEN M. (TOOTSIE) SPENCER Tootsie was borne on August 24, 1933 in Miami, Florida, the 9th of 11 children of Mr. & Mrs. Eugene C. Canova. She graduated from Miami Senior High School. Tootsie worked for and retired from Eastern Airlines at Miami International Airport. Upon retirement, she lived in both Cherrylog, Georgia and Port St Lucie, Florida. She loved Port St Lucie and was very active as a volunteer in the following organizations: The Deaf Service Center, Dogs and Cats Forever, PAL, Community Patrol, and her beloved Port St. Lucie Police Department where she volunteered one day a week at the front desk.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul V. Spencer; her sisters: Jean Collins, Eleanor Gooch, Ceil Kilbride, Gay Holcomb, Mary Rilling, Ann Kemmer; and, her brother Joseph Canova.

The family will be receiving visitors at Aycock Funeral Home – Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel on Bayshore Boulevard from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 7,2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 930 SW Tunis Ave.
