Arlene owned and operated many businesses over her lifetime, most of which were tied to her love of antiques. Though she was a savvy, hardworking business woman, this is not what she will be most remembered for. Her loved ones will never forget how she was generous to a fault, lavish with grace, and quick to forgive. She always seemed to find a way to show kindness to others, even in her final days at the nursing home. She loved to share her chocolates, popcorn, and favorite books with anyone who came for a visit and regularly sent notes of encouragement to friends and family.
She is survived by her sister, Alberta Graham and her husband Jack, of Bonita Springs, FL., niece Maureen Robelen of Stuart, FL., son-in-law Bruce Murat of Port St Lucie, FL., grandson Todd Sallo and his wife Erica of Cresco, PA., and two great-granddaughters, Sarah and Rebekah Sallo. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Linda Murat.
The family would like to thank Treasure Coast Hospice and their volunteers as well as the staff at Solaris Healthcare Parkway and Seabranch Health & Rehab in Stuart, FL for taking excellent care of Arlene over the past 4 years.
We will miss you Ma and will never forget you!
