Carol Sue Barnette Bowman Zimmerman passed away unexpectedly October 1, 2023, at the age of 80 in Port St. Lucie FL. A native of Bartley WV, she was born May 21, 1943, the daughter of the late C.E. "Duck" and Monnie Spivey Barnette. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Sam D. Bowman and Gene Zimmerman, and her sister Kay Reaser (Emory "Buddy") . She is survived by her nephew Michael Reaser of Vancouver BC Canada, her stepdaughters Lori Zimmerman and Leanne Zimmerman and Lisa and Keith Enders of Harrisburg PA, her aunt Dot Hefner of Newport News VA, and a multitude of beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. Her cremains will be interred at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA.
