Corey Richard Martinez

Corey Richard Martinez, 23, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017. He was survived by his father, Luis Martinez; mother, Jennifer Martinez-Ekstrom (Rick); sister, Taylor Martinez; stepbrother, Tyler Ekstrom (Alexis); stepsister, Jessi Ekstrom; and love of his life, Leena Marsh. He was pre-deceased in death by his grandmother, Jackielynn Ruth Galczyk. He was born in Port St. Lucie, FL and was a graduate of Treasure Coast High School. He owned and operated his own business, Setting Standards Customs performing specialized paint work on custom cars and motorcycles. Corey participated in many fitness contests, enjoyed playing golf, fishing, skateboarding, dirt biking, surfing, being in his shop, and going to the beach. Corey was constantly surrounded by family and friends who loved and cared about him deeply. Corey was a person who would greet and welcome challenges, rising to the task each time. Corey is an unforgettable individual and will truly be missed. The image of his smile will forever be in our hearts. A Celebration of Corey's life will take place on Saturday October 7, 2017 from 12-3 pm with a 1 pm service at Aycock Funeral Home Byrd Young & Pril Chapel 1170 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, Florida 34983.
