Dorothy was born in Kirkland, Washington and moved to Port St Lucie, Florida. She was ambassador for Transplant Olympics and worked as a LPN for 20 years. Dorothy was a dedicated church goer and she had two kidney transplants.
Survivors include husband, Dennis Lyon, four sons Ray, Adam, Albert and Jeff, daughter Dena, grandchildren Ivy, Jacob Nickolas, Morgan, Timothy, Joshua and Naome.
Visitation is on Thursday August 3, 2017 at Aycock Byrd, Young and Prill Chapel, 1170 SE Bayshore Boulevard, Port St Lucie, Florida, 34983, from 11:00 to 12:00 with a service at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
