Mrs. Edith M McGuire

Edith M. McGuire, 81, a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL, departed this life Saturday, October 7, 2017. Edith was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph P. McGuire. She is survived by her children, Joseph P. McGuire, Jr., and his wife, Denise, Cheryl Volkart-Apel, and her husband, Gary, and Richard D. Volkart, and his wife, Diane; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Clinch, and her husband, Dan; and many other loving family members and friends. Edith was an active member of Faith Congregational Church and the St. Lucie West Lion’s Club. Prior to moving to Port St. Lucie, FL, she was also an active member of the Lion’s Clubs in Bergen County, NJ and Ocean County, NJ. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 18, at Faith Congregational Church, 2199 SW Savona Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953.
