We are grateful to have shared so many wonderful times together. Once Andrew and Sheldon became friends with Sheahan, Mr. and Mrs. Rigg welcomed us like family. I recall that our first real American Thanksgiving celebration was in the home of Ivan and Valerie Rigg. We were always welcomed with warmth and affection, and our families enjoyed many occasions together over the years. Mr. Rigg was the consummate conversationalist—able to talk on any topic—especially sports. And he was the football/soccer coach for Sheldon, Sheahan, and Andrew in North Lauderdale. We send our love and pray that with God’s help your family may find strength, comfort, and peace.

I met Ivan 34 years ago as a coworker at Alpine, I moved on to Naples a few years later but we kept in touch since, he was just that kind of guy keeping in touch with everyone who had a connection with him.  
I enjoyed our 1 hour conversations over the last 30 years although we hadn't seen each other I felt like we were as close as when we worked together,he will be missed not only by me but I'm sure by many others! Rest in peace my friend godspeed 🙏

Ivan was a dear friend of mine and now turned out to 40yrs. Of friendship. Maybe we weren’t close as wanted but close in hearts. My dear friend may u rest in piece and may God bless u and ur family! Thank u for being my friend Ivan, from me and the Alpine Family we Love u!

To my best friend and my buddy Ivan want to miss talking to you about sports Cricket you were so advanced in your Cricket World I'm going to miss that every Sports about Jamaica we used to talk mostly everyday track and field football Jamaica football team when he used to coach in Fort Lauderdale and how good you were at coaching and I used to I used to tell you you need to go and Coach Jamaica football team the reggae boys and we would laugh but I miss you buddy.
