Happy Heavenly Birthday Jill. I can’t help but think of all the birthday celebrations we shared over the years. Popping the champagne was our tradition . Love you and miss you more than I can say.

Happy birthday my sister my friend. You may not be here to celebrate but this day will not be celebrated or forgotten. Miss you more than I can say. Forever sisters forever friends. Rest in peace. Love you forever.

To my wonderful sister. It still does not seem real that you are gone for two years. You know how much I miss you and all of the fun and laughs we shared.  A day will come when we will have that again. Until then you know that you are loved and thought of every single day. You are one of a kind. Rest in peace and keep smiling.

Themis, Nick, Deon, Our prayers are with you all and with Jill. We love Jill and her big personality and loving nature will stay with us forever. Together Jill and Themis raised two great men and her hard work and dedication will live on in them as it does in all her family and friends. We will miss her fabulous meals, positive upbeat attitude, her jokes, and unpretentious honesty. A vey rare heart and knowing her made us all better people for sure.

I will miss you at family events, holidays and cruises.  It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact I won’t see you again. I have fond memories of Jill teaching my how  to shuffle cards and play card games during summers in Patchogue, New York  when I was a young girl.

July28th is here. A day I never would have thought our family and friends would be saying goodbye to you. It is inconceivable. I just don’t understand why. People say you can pick your friends, not your relatives. If I had a choice I would still pick you to be my sister. I couldn’t possibly choose anyone better.  Missing you terribly. Today you come home. Love you more than I can say. 

Jill was another mother to me. I was one of Nick’s buddies from church, and was introduced to the family in middle school. 

Jill was pure love, acceptance, and patience with me, even when I was miles away from deserving them. 

I will always  remember her as a Beacon of Welcoming White Light. No matter the day or time, the could show up at the house, even if the boys weren’t there, and before I could sit down she’d have the fridge open, ready to feed me. 

She was honest. If I was being an idiot, she was certain to tell me so. 

She instilled the importance of family into her boys, as well as any of the people they brought home. I’m proud to call her one of the people who most inspired my character. 

While there are no words that can ease the hurt of losing such a wonderful person way too early, my thoughts are with the entire Koumoutseas family. 

Not an easy task…. to say goodbye.   
Jill is in the category of forever-friend.  
In the same world as us or not… the love, laughter, memories, friendship remain. Condolences to her beautiful family and friends… love one another. 

       To my brother Themis, my nephews Nicolas and Dion, Jill's sister Annette, the entire family, and friends of Jill Koumoutseas:  A great woman came into our life whom we all had the blessed privilege of knowing, in some capacity or another before she left this earth.  Jill was a marvelous, loving, funny, and sweet addition to our family; her aura will forever live in our hearts.  

 	Jill’s loving commitment to marriage and family began when she assimilated into the Greek Orthodox Church to marry my brother.  She embraced her Italian culture and infused ours by learning to cook Greek food with our mother, Maria.  I have fond memories of holidays spent with Jill, family, and friends at their home in Connecticut, where she laid out elaborate Italian and Greek dishes.  She was a great cook and a warm host.  She was gregarious and further nourished family gatherings with ski vacations in Vermont.  Those I remember as awesome days spent together in the mountains, followed by cherished dinner gatherings, laughing and enjoying each other's company.  

	She was a one-of-a-kind loving person.  If she was in your life, you understand what I mean and know it was a gift to know her.  I see outbursts of flowers, sunshine, snow, rain, joy, and much laughter that fills my heart when I think of Jill.  Jill, while my heart is sad, your memories will help to lift all of us during these difficult times.  You are always in my heart, and I will miss you greatly.

Aunt Jill, mother Aunt, friend and an inspiration. Aunt Jill was both a friend and an inspiration to me. To know Jill two words come to mind love and laughter. If you met her you had no choice but to laugh, loving her was effortless. She welcomed you like the sun does to each and everyone of us daily. Her touch was upon us all and her warmth unbiased. 
Jill was the heart of this family ( in my humble opinion) . Without question like the heart beats everyday and touches even the furthest of extremities, Jill touched us all. In her company you could not help but laugh, and laugh and laugh more. 
Aunt Jill also blessed our family with the introduction to the Greek side of the family. Enriched us all with the introduction of Themis. Blessed us further with the beautiful life they created in Nicolas and Dion. Both young men are a combination of wisdom and kindness instilled in them by both parents. 
Furthermore she created a bond like no other with her sister Annette. If ever there was an unbreakable bond this is it. Both beautiful in their own right magnificent but together they a quality of life they brought to one another that has no equal. Love and laughter.
Lastly I'd like to add my Aunt always told me that the door was always open. I never imagined it would be heavens gate. That being said, Aunt Jill if you could save just a bit of " satchio ice cream" and hold the reservation for " Pat-tick".  I love you Aunt Jill, did what you do and spread love and laughter now and forever Amen!

I will never forget how much fun it was to grow up with Jill.  She had the best sense of humor. The times I got to spend with her were full of laughter. I know what its like to lose someone so precious. My heart is with her family.  

Although we worked a short time at the Cardiology practice, you made a huge impression in my life.  Jill was the epitome of a  professional women who was caring, strong and kind.  Your patients and co-workers loved you.  We all enjoyed your extraordinary cooking talents.  You will be missed Jill...



So sad to hear of Jill's  passing. I was friends with Jill going way back to our early  teen years.   The amount of fun and laughs with her were never  ending.  I think of her today with a smile, thinking of her as a young girl...seeing that she has grown into a wonderful woman.  My condolences  to her  family and friends.  Rest in peace old friend...

Jill was a unique and wonderful person. We will so miss her greetings when we came to the pool. She always showed an interest in our lives and in others. Her face would light up when she mentioned her Sons, her family …..and  we  also discovered  a funny passion for broccoli rabe!  

Themis, we are so sorry for your loss. No words can help with what you are facing. Annette, our condolences on the loss of your sweet Sister.

Afternoon Jill  thinking of you today on your birthday. It was a sunny day just like today. Annette and I sat on the curb on ocean parkway outside the hospital with dad. You sure took your time. Amazing how we remember that at such a young age so vividly it has lasted forever. Again happy birthday and God be with you.  

So sorry to hear of Jill passing, sending deepest  condolences to all of you.  Many fond memories. 🙏 

On July 14th, sixty eight years ago you came into our lives. Who knew the gift that was given to us. Life took on a whole different meaning. Now that you have left this world life again is forever changed. So even though we cannot celebrate your birthday together I can’t not acknowledge your special day. So here’s to you my wonderful Sister in heaven. Miss you terribly, love you forever. Annette 

Jill brought joy and laughter into everyone's life. We were family that shared happiness and love since we were kids in the early 60's. Jill was a caring person that would help others and a true friend. She will truly be missed.  Rest in peace my sister from another Mother .

Jill and I met in high school. We were on split session so my friend and I who were a few years older than Jill would pull her  out of school so we could drive around aimlessly while she entertained us with her crazy humor.
The fun continues through our 20’s and 30’s. We lived together for 4 years of beach days, nights dancing, ski trips and more laughs and jokes that anyone can imagine.
Through marriages and babies we kept in touch. Holidays we would catch up when she came to Bellport.
Turns out we both end up in Port St Lucie about 6 years ago. She was still my beautiful crazy friend who made me laugh.
Myself, having health issues kept us from seeing one another the past few months.
Then we said, “next week, next week”but next week never came. We couldn’t imagine we would run out of time.
My heart breaks at the thought I’ll never see my dear friend again. There will always be an empty spot inside me that was once filled by this beautiful, loving, generous and truly funny woman.
My heart breaks for Annette,Themis, Nicholas and Dion. I’m thinking of you all and pray God gives you strength to bear such a terrible  loss. With all my love, Rudi

Jill, I missed you. Every morning I think of your beautiful smile and warmth.  I remember when you always  knocked on my door with  the special  Greek spinach  things you use to make and present them to me to freeze for Joe and I to enjoy.  I also remember the evenings whether for coffee and cake  or dinners  we shared with You , Themis, Annette and friends and how much we laughed.
You were one wonderful lady and you will be very missed.

To Jill's husband, children, sister, brother family and friends, my sincere condolences.   We will be at her Celebration of life.  Marietta and Peter.

Memories are a wonderful gift to have though they feel pale when compared to being able to spend more time together, it just ended so fast. My first thoughts are for her loved ones who are struggling with their sudden loss.  I pray for Themis, their boys, and Annette to arrive at a place of eventual peace and acceptance though that is a long road they have ahead of them. She and Annette were what all sisters should aspire to be, with a little bit of mother thrown in for good measure. I hope that in God's grace He will provide some comfort for her unbearable moments of loss.  Jill was so unique, surprising, generous and memorable..  awfully entertaining too, and could tell a joke like nobody else.. She was gifted, kind, warm and remarkable. I always told her I wish I could remember just one of those jokes and she said you only have to remember the punchline and the whole story will come to you from there. I remember some of those punchlines and they make me smile because I remember her face when she told them, she was so pleased with all of our laughter! Besides the fun, I will remember her soft side and the unexpected kind word or quiet gesture she offered. I will miss those for their tenderness. I pray these memories will bring her family some comfort in their time of sadness

Dear Themis,  Annette and family—

To say that Jill was an angel sent to me would be an understatement!
Her warmth of  taking Dave and I into your lives for some of the most enjoyable dinners and time spent together will be forever remembered. 
Jill was a gracious host,  wonderful cook and made the best spanakopita I have ever had and dare say will never have again.
If it weren’t for Jill we wouldn’t have met some of the nicest people in this community.
She will be missed by all that had the pleasure to know her and so sad we are unable to stay for the upcoming memorial to meet her sons that she was so very proud of.
Grateful that she has cemented a relationship for us with Annette and Themis.

We lost a Special Person in our Extended Circle of Friends and Family. I have such warm and special memories of the Time I spent with Jill. I am Saddened and Heartbroken over her  passing to Spirit. I know in my Heart She is Still with us and can see all of us. She knows she will be sorely missed ((((HUGZ)))).

I remember her warmth the most. Going up to Ct and spending a day skiing. I have too many memories to share but one memory is that She was and still is a true Friend and Much Loved  One
