John Aviles (1931 - 2017) - husband of Gertrude Aviles (for 60 years), father of Jay, Dennis, Philip and Peter passed on 8/30/2017. He was a Navy veteran, serving in the Korean War and a resident of Port Saint Lucie since 1970. Contributions to our community included the Carpenter’s Union, Lion’s Club, Optimist Club, Spanish-American Club and supervising the construction of the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant. He will be missed. No services are planned at this time.
