

John, son of Peter and Suzanne Weed of Port St. Lucie died on December 15, 2015. He was born April 7, 1977 in Philadelphia, Pa. and grew up in Bensalem, Pa. John graduated from Hudson Valley Community College and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY in 2000 as a mechanical engineer. John served in the US Navy as an electricians mate on a submarine, the USS Memphis. He sailed in every ocean and visited many countries. He currently lived in Newton Falls, Ohio and worked as an electrician for Warren Steel Holdings. As a youngster, John was active in Boy Scouts and helped as assistant Scout Leader as an adult. John enjoyed camping, running, biking, kayaking, and fishing. During High School he traveled to Europe with the Schalmont High School Choir singing concerts in Great Britain. John was a great man, taken from us way too soon in an automobile accident. He will be missed by many who knew and loved him. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church, 260 SW Prima Vista Boulevard, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. Burial will be held at 2:15 pm, Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
