Mary C. Celidonio, of Port St. Lucie, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 60 years old.
Born in Salem, New Hampshire on October 23, 1964, and formerly of the Quintal family, Mary pursued a life rooted in faith, service, and love. She earned her bachelor’s degree from St. Leo University and went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University. Mary dedicated 27 years of her life as a passionate and committed public defender, tirelessly advocating for justice and those in need.
Mary’s Catholic faith was central to her life and guided her in everything she did. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished sister, and a daughter whose strength and compassion touched all who knew her. Her greatest joy was her family, and she poured her heart into nurturing and supporting them every step of the way.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Michael; her three sons, Matthew, Jake, and Nicholas; her siblings, Vincent, Nancy, Jean, Melodie, and Barbara; her mother, Barbara Quintal; and her parents-in-law, Ralph and Elizabeth Celidonio.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Cynthia and Brian, and by her father, Vincent Quintal.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her unwavering faith, her fierce dedication to justice, and the boundless love she gave to her family and community.
