Stanley Frederique was born in Haiti on December 22, 1972, by Ms. Winy Frederique and Andre Delorme. He’s been a son, a brother, friend, uncle, father to many kids. He loves his God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. He made sure the kids were reading or doing something with school every chance he got. Though he had a hard time learning, he graduated high school, had some college classes, worked at McDonalds and became General Manager. He had an excellent work ethic.
Dado was one of a kind, he was “Stan the Man.” He did not require a lot of attention but was able to give it freely. Whenever you ask him if he’s ok, his #1 reply was “I AM GOOD.” Stan will give you his last shirt off of his back and stay without. He was not into looks, he was about opening a church, doing business or better yet Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. He fed his soul on a regular basis and remained humble at all times.
While most of us walk around freely, Stanley knew every day to him was a precious gift. He wanted to be 50 years old so bad. He felt a sense of accomplishment when his 50th birthday came around. God granted him an extra 2 years and 8 months.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Sophia, our cousin, for providing Stanley with the most precious gift of all, her kidney. The gift of not having to do dialysis for a while, the gift that none of his siblings were able to give him because we were not a match. Thank you!
To the dialysis team, you guys were his extended family. Stan would get dressed 2 hours before dialysis, sit outside at least 30 to 40 minutes before the bus came to pick him up knowing that you guys were keeping him alive. He looked forward to seeing some of the girls that were pretty --- so then he would get ready almost 3 hours before dialysis and be so excited to go. To the TEAM we are grateful!
To the people that really see and love Stan, we are grateful!
To his doctors we are grateful!
Stanley, Stan, Dado you are an overcomer, you have reached your destination on this earth, but you still live in our hearts and mind. The illness robbed you of so much, at time even your mind, but I thank God it never robbed you of your SOUL! You have a beautiful soul.
Stan was supposed to be discharged home on Saturday, but God came and got what belonged to Him and to Him alone. That was His destiny for Stan’s life. No more dialysis, no more pain, surgeries, needles, meds, feeling inadequate. I know he will wear the crown and walk the street of Gold. He deserved as many badges as possible of honor that God has for him.
Stanley Frederique is survived by his son Tyquel Doyle; siblings Marie Antoine Honore (Esdras), James Frederique, Dania Regine Frederique, and William Evans Jr (Ashley), Jocelyn Delorme, Ronald Delorme, Rose Dosseus, Vivens Delorme, Daphne Delorme; aunts and uncle Jeanette Ina (Guy), Paulette Joseph, Yves Frederique (Ketia); and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his mother Winy Frederique, father Andre Delorme, grandmother Marie Elizabeth Frederique, uncle Joe Frederique (Jacqueline) and brother Ralph Delorme.
