Theresa Palmieri, 93, of Port St Lucie (formerly of Nesconset, NY), passed away peacefully at home on December 10, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her children Cathy (Justin) and Michael ( Bernadette), grandchildren Christopher, Matthew, Jennifer, Timothy, Jonathan, Emma and Joseph, great grandchildren Jonen, Emily, Liliana, Eva and Dylan.
Theresa is predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Joseph, her son Robert (Barbara), her sister Rose and brothers John and Chris.
Theresa was born on February 12, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY. From a young age she was raised by her sister, Rose, and she, in turn, cared for her younger brother Chris. Theresa was a nurturer at heart, a loving wife and homemaker who was adored by her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Theresa will be remembered as a wonderful friend, a great listener and confidant. She was a compassionate and selfless person who always put the needs of others before her own. She will be missed by many.
A private family viewing was held in Port St Lucie, FL. A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church in Kings Park, NY on February 18, 2023 at 10:45 am, followed by a Celebration of Life.
