Born a beautiful red-head in Southbend, IN to parents Richard and Joscelyn Byrne, who preceded him in death and who he will re-unite with in Heaven.
Tom selflessly and bravely served his country in the Vietnam War. He was laid-back and a smart and funny man, who enjoyed the ocean and fishing. He relaxed while listening to music and a favorite pastime was gardening with his mother.
He is deeply loved and mourned by many, including his 9 surviving brothers and sisters; David (Rita) Byrne, Michael (Gina) Byrne, Richard Byrne Jr., Robert Byrne, Dianne Perdew, Christine (Larry) Peterson, Mary Hall, Tara Stanford and Elizabeth (Don) Kudlak, Uncle Jim and Aunt Diane.
