Anna M. Goodheart

Anna M. Goodheart, 86, died on Monday June 3, 2013 at the Barron Center. The daughter of Ralph and Rose (Cook) Dunnell, she was born in Portland ME on February 1, 1927. On April 8, 1945 she married Joseph C. Goodheart and they lived briefly in New Jersey before returning to Maine to raise their four children. Anna worked for Porteous, Mitchell & Braun in the Portland store from 1966-1991 in the china department. She loved celebrating the holidays and being with family, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Visiting with co-worker and talking on the phone was her favorite pastime. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph of 65 years, her brother Lyman Dunnell and her son-in-law Philip Clark. She is survived by four children, Nancy White and her husband Robert of Poland, Beverly A. Clark of Bar Mills, Bonnie L. Mazerolle and her husband Daniel of Buxton, Tom L. Goodheart and his wife Shirlene of Hollis, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters Barbara Wambolt of California, and Marie Higgins of New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Thursday June 6, 2013 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland. A funeral service will be held on Friday June 7, 2013 at 1:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Blanchard Cemetery, Winn Rd. Falmouth, followed by a light reception at the Woodford Congregational Church hall.
