

Anthony was born in Portland on May 17, 1944 to Walter and Mary (Gagnon) Webster. He grew up in the Portland area and was a graduate of Portland High School. He worked as a Union Welder with Local 537 at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, and Bath Iron Works amongst other places, and was affectionately known as “Dummy”.
Anthony enjoyed many games of chance. Whether he was at the track watching the races, playing cards with friends, or spending time at the casino's he reveled in the thrill of a good win. He was an avid baseball and Red Sox fan, and was quite a storyteller too.
Surviving is his ex-wife Elizabeth "Betty" Webster of Windham, two daughters; Bibiana Narcissa and her husband Will of Detroit, Nicole Smith and her husband Ronald of Windham; two sons, Anthony Webster and his wife Mikala of Windham, and Chris Webster of Naples. Also surviving are his grandchildren; Evan, Sean-Michael, Shied, San, Chellel, Emelda, Dax, Wilbert, and Keaton, and his mother Mary of Portland.
A celebration of Anthony's life will be held privately by his family.
In lieu of flowers the Webster family suggests memorials be made to the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, 11 Hunnewell Rd., Scarborough, ME.
Care for Anthony and his family has been entrusted to the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home of Portland.
