

Arnold Blaine Murray, 88, died January 20, 2017. Arnold was born in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, December 27, 1928, the son of Emma (Peabbles) and Alonzo Soule Murray. He graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School.
Arnold married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Corinne Lee Donna, in 1948. She predeceased him in 2014.
Arnold was a master electrician and owned his own business for many years. He was a devoted father, serving as Cub Scout leader for his sons. He helped to organize the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Connecticut. He loved camping and was an active member and president of a Good Sam's Chapter for many years. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. A kind and gentle soul, he will be missed by many.
Arnold leaves one son, Alan S. Murray, and his wife Becky, of Midland, Michigan; and two granddaughters: Carol Grace and Amanda Lee, of Midland, Michigan. We celebrate Arnold's long-anticipated reunion in Heaven with those who predeceased him: his loving wife, Corinne; daughter, Carol Lee Murray; son, David Blaine Murray; parents; ten siblings; and many friends.
A memorial and celebration of his life will be held at a later date to be determined. Arrangements are being handled by Jones, Rich, & Barnes Funeral Home, Portland, ME. If desired, contributions in his memory may be made to the charitable organization of your choice. Arnold supported the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and had a great love of animals, especially dogs.
