Barbara Cole Fogg

Barbara C. Fogg, 81 of Farnham Street, Portland, beloved wife and mother, died Sunday, June15, 2014 at Gorham House. Barbara was born in Waterville on June 20, 1932 a daughter of George and Angie Berry Cole and attended schools in Portland. She graduated from Deering High School in 1950.

Barbara met her husband, Leon, while working for New England Telephone and Telegraph. They would have been married 59 years this July. She was a homemaker and mother. She loved animals and had several Golden Retrievers and cats. She enjoyed bowling, gardening and following her grandchildren’s sporting events.

She is predeceased by her mother, father and brother George Cole Jr. She is survived by her husband, Leon B. Fogg and their children: Kathrin Curtis and her husband Wayne, Kathleen Duffy and her husband Michael, Steve Fogg and his wife Dorothy and David Fogg and his wife Lori. She is also survived by her sister Mrs. Frances Warren and by eight grandchildren: Steven and Christopher Curtis, Joshua, Cory and Bryon Fogg, Matthew Duffy, Colby and Morgan Fogg and two great granddaughters, Kadence and Ainsleigh Fogg. Visitation will be Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 4 -7 at Jones-Rich Funeral Home, Woodford St., Portland, ME Christian Service will be Friday June 20, 2014 at 11:00am at Stevens Avenue Congregational Church, Stevens Ave., Portland, ME.
