Daniel J. Doyle

Portland, Maine-Daniel J. Doyle age 60 of Westbrook died Sunday January 20, 2013 at Maine Medical Center. He was born in Boston, MA on March 7, 1952 the son of Joseph and Mary Foley Doyle. Daniel was educated in Boston Schools and graduated from New Prep School in Cambridge, MA. He was also a graduate of Nasson College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1975. Daniel worked for Saco Defense and various other manufacturing companies. He enjoyed ice hockey, pool, golf, 60s and 70s rock and roll, and black and white movies and TV shows. Once he left Massachusetts he never went back. He was a “Mainer” at heart. Daniel was also a member of the Westbrook Eagles.

He is survived by his wife Joanna Goodridge of Westbrook, two sisters Jeannie Eckard (Garry) of Milton, MA and Marianne Murphy (Walter) of Chesapeake, VA, two daughters Sarah and Abigail Doyle both of MA, nieces Kimberly Murphy, Jillian Eckard, Allison Eckard, and nephew Douglas Murphy.

Daniel was predeceased by his parents and his brother Joseph Doyle.

In accordance with Daniel’s wishes, there are no services scheduled at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
