Donald B. Miller Sr.

Falmouth- Donald “Skip” B. Miller Sr., 82, of West Circle, passed away peacefully at home on February 1, 2014. He was born in Swanzey, NH a son of Charles Henry Miller and Mary Anna Bedard. Donald attended the local Swanzey schools. He served in the US Navy for 9 years and is a veteran of the Korean War. Upon leaving the Navy Donald married his sweetheart Lorraine McLinden of Portland, ME. They were wed for 53 years until she predeceased him in 2009. Donald made a 30 year career working for Sears Roebuck and Co and held various managerial positions there until his retirement.

Donald is survived by four children, Cynthia Belanger of Rocky Mountain, VA, Donald Miller Jr. and his wife Linda of Windham, ME, Ruth Valeska and her husband Peter of Sparks, NV, Sandra Bouchard and her husband Tim of Gray, ME; two sisters, Jean Bolewski and Marlene Miller and one brother Richard Miller all of Keene NH; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

At Donald Sr. request there are no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday February 7, 2014 at 10:00A.M. in St. Pius X Church, 492 Ocean Avenue, Portland, Maine. Interment will follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park in Portland. Arrangements are by Jones Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Portland, Maine.
