Ellen Mary Di Trolio

Rev. Ellen Mary (Coakley) Di Trolio, went to be with her Lord on August 19, 2015 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She married Rocco Di Trolio on June 11, 1983, and they were associate pastors in Huntington Station, NY. They continued to serve in ministry as Assemblies of God missionaries in Argentina since September 1988, along with their two children, Stephen and Christopher. Before living in Argentina, they had previously served in short term ministry in Mexico, Paraguay, Spain and England. They both graduated from University of Valley Forge in Pennsylvania.

Ellen and her husband have developed church planting and evangelism ministries. They have planted over 15 churches, as well as founded a national church-planting ministry in Argentina with over 60 church congregations. Ellen served as the Coordinator for Family and Pastoral Care for the pastors and families of new church plants. She made a great impact on many of their lives. She was a public speaker for women’s meetings and churches, wrote a monthly devotional and hosted a radio program. For the last two and half years she has served as one of the pastors of Life Christian Center in San Isidro, Buenos Aires where she is well-loved by the congregation.

She is survived by her husband, Rocco, two sons, Stephen and Christopher, as well as her parents Edward and Patricia Coakley, and brothers and sisters, Edward Jr., William, Nancy and Elizabeth.
