

He was born March 30, 1927 and raised in Lewiston, Maine where he attended Saints Peter and Paul Church. Following grade school, he attended and graduated in the first class of St. Dominic High School. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII then the Air Force during the Korean war as a transport pilot. He later graduated from Bentley College with a degree in accounting.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of Hope Parish at St. Patrick’s Church until it closed in 2013 and most recently attended St. Pius Church. He was a member of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus Assembly 337 and a member Portland Council 101 at Our Lady of Hope Parish.
He was predeceased by his parents, baby sister Emma Rose, his son David and recently by his older sister Irene Landry.
He leaves behind his wife Fernande Bouchard of 63 years, two daughters Jackie (spouse Thomas Royles) of New Gloucester, Michelle (James Ambrose) of Freeport, three sons Gerard (spouse Thesea Beaty) of Syracuse, NY, Paul of Portland, and Marc (spouse Rachel Bedard) of Fort Collins, CO. He was also blessed with seven grandchildren: Christine and Stephen Royles, Sydney and Nova Ambrose, Alexander and Michaela Leblond, Hanna Rose, and one great-grandson Talan Morrilly. A sister, Sylvia Bolduc of Cumberland, and several nieces and nephews complete the family portrait
Friends and family are invited to attend a time of visitation will be 10-12pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 492 Ocean Avenue, Portland on Tuesday November 3, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated right after visitation. Interment will follow at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery Chapel in Lewiston, Maine located 217 Switzerland Road with US Air Force military honors.
