Isabel Scott Balfour passed away peacefully at the age of 97,on Thursday August 9,2018 at the Barron Center where she had resided for the past 10 years. She was pre-deceased by her husband I.Alan Balfour. She raised six children and is survived by Susan Virgilio ( deceased), Lynn Vail, Lucy Balfour, Candy Balfour Devou, Scott Balfour and Matthew Pekins and Bruce Balfour and his wife Raye Brennan Balfour.
She was blessed to have 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Isabel was very active in the local garden club in her earlier years and was known for her epitome of class and her love for dancing, cooking and reading, her big infectious laugh, basking in the sun and taking long walks on the beach collecting sea glass.
Isabel lived with class and passed with grace.
A Celebration of Isabel’s life will take place at the Barron Center with her burial service at Riverside Cemetery.
