James E MacDonald II

James E. MacDonald II, 38, of Portland passed away unexpectedly on October 22, 2016 at Maine Medical Center. James was born in Portland on March 21, 1978 the son of James MacDonald I and Deborah Jill Northcutt.

He worked at DiMillo’s Restaurant in the Old Port as a cook for many years and also dabbled in mechanics never finding a job that he was not afraid to take on. Jim was a person that loved to play video games when he had some free time.

He is survived by his father James Edward MacDonald of Portland, a sister Amelia Berry of Buxton, two brothers William and Joshua MacDonald of Portland, and a daughter Meka Rory MacDonald of Augusta.

The family would like to invite all his friends to a celebration of his life and to share their stories on Sunday October 30th from 1 – 4pm at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St, Portland, ME 04103 207-775-3763. Committal will be private and at a later date.
