Joshua Paul Rowe

He was born in Portland, Maine on May 24, 2000. The son of David Jr. and Karen (Chamberland) Rowe. Joshua was a senior at Westbrook High School, and preparing to apply to Maine Maritime Academy for his first choice of college.

Josh loved sports, playing on many teams from a very young age. He excelled at baseball, football and track. His enthusiasm for the game, and devotion to teammates, made him someone everyone wanted on their team. Josh's passion was being outside, on a snowmobile or skis. He loved going to the County to visit his Memere and Pepere where he would go four wheeling, fishing, and snowmobiling.

Josh formerly worked at Friendly’s Restaurant, and was currently employed at Texas Roadhouse, where his manager spoke very highly of Josh’s strong work ethic. Josh loved playing video games with his brother, Devin, and spending time with his many friends.

Josh is deeply loved by his parents, David C. Rowe Jr. and Karen (Chamberland) Rowe, and brother, Devin Charles Rowe. He is also survived by his Grandfather, David C. Rowe Sr., of South Portland, Grandmother, Lucille Chamberland, of St. Agatha, Aunts and Uncle, Janice Chamberland, of Portland, Phyllis (Chamberland) Stewart, of Saco, Tracy Rowe, of Portland, and Debra and Randy White, of Scarborough; several cousins, Tyler and Neil Stewart, of Saco, Janessa White, of Scarborough, Matthew Morris, of Portland, and Meaghan Morris, of Boston. He was predeceased by his grandmother Dianne Rowe, Pepere Clifford Chamberland, and Step-Grandmother Judi White Rowe.

Josh had a magnetic smile and personality that made him the brightest of stars! .......

The family invites you to share your stories and memories at visiting hours at The Westbrook Performing Arts Center 471 Stroudwater St. Westbrook ME on Sunday October 29th from 3:00 to 6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday October 30th at 1:00pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Stevens Ave, Portland followed by a Committal Service at Evergreen Cemetery in Portland.
