Lyman-Joyce Marilyn Johnson, 95, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 in Scarborough. The daughter of James “Mel” and Doris (Sorenson) Semple she was born in Portland on December 4, 1929. She attended Portland schools and graduated from Portland Highschool. She was married for more than fifty years to Arthur Johnson who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by two brothers James M Semple Jr., and Robert M. Semple.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Low of Lyman, and Bonnie Ramos and her husband Ed of South Carolina, her grandchildren Jeff Noyes, Denyse Jones, David Walton, Veronica Beaulieu, Melissa Cannone, and Eduardo Ramos, several greatgrandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside committal service, on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery, 672 Steven’s Ave Portland.
