

Lois was married to the love of her life, Clifford H. Scott, who predeceased her in January of 2017. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A lifelong educator, Lois devoted 33 years of her career to teaching in Amesbury, MA, touching the lives of countless students along the way. She was deeply passionate about education and believed in the power of kindness, patience, and a curious mind.
She is survived by her son, Craig Scott, her daughter Lynn Caouette and her son-in-law, Chris Caouette. She was a cherished grandmother to Jeffrey Bridges, Mandy Bridges, Jennifer Bridges, and Ashley Bridges. Lois was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Calvin Bridges, Faye Nagle, Laya Nagle, Carson Nagle, and Cameron Charette.
Lois was predeceased by her sister, Beverly Bowen, and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and warmth.
Outside of her family, Lois was a passionate reader and a lover of arts and crafts. She enjoyed painting, solving puzzles, and making time for the things that brought her joy. She was especially happy when surrounded by her great-grandchildren, whom she adored.
Lois enjoyed playing the organ, and her musical talent was an expression of her caring and gentle spirit. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and cherished her travels, which included several memorable cruises.
Lois was a kind-hearted woman who touched many lives, and her love for her family was immeasurable. Her absence leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her memory will continue to shine brightly in the lives of her loved ones.
A committal service will be held in her honor on July 25th, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Ocean View Cemetery in Wells, ME.
Rest in peace, Lois. You will be forever missed and always loved.
