

Born on September 30, 1939, in Portland, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Antoinette (DelPonte) Ferrante. A lifelong resident of Portland, Norma was deeply rooted in her community and in her faith. She was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, where she received both her First Communion and Confirmation.
Norma married the love of her life, Antonio DiPietrantonio, with whom she shared many cherished years until his passing. Together, they built a life centered around family, faith, and tradition. Norma was predeceased by her beloved husband Antonio, her parents, and all of her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her loving sons, Anthony DiPietrantonio and Darren DiPietrantonio and fiancée Stacey Trudeau. Norma was a proud and devoted grandmother to Noah, Bella, Lucianna, and Jack Thompson, who brought her endless joy and pride.
Norma’s greatest happiness came from time spent with her family. She especially loved Sunday dinners, where she cooked hearty Italian meals for those she loved. She cherished outings with her late sister Florence, enjoyed shopping, dining at local establishments, and never passed up a good game of bingo. Norma’s warmth, humor, and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She embraced her role as a mother and grandmother with deep love and dedication.
Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford Street, Portland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 19, at 10:00 AM at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, followed by a committal service at Calvary Cemetery.
Norma’s strength, spirit, and deep love for her family will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
