Patrick Lakin Sr.

Mechanic Falls, ME- Patrick Joseph Lakin, 56, passed away on September 23, 2025, in Mechanic Falls, ME. He was born on March 12, 1969, a son of Edson and Maryann (Dadiego) Lakin. Patrick was known for his integrity and devotion as a husband, father, and grandfather.

His family and friends remember him as a great man who cherished his time with loved ones and upheld values of honesty and integrity in every aspect of his life.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, Patrick and Eleanor Dadiego, and his grandmother, Maude Lakin.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Tina Renaud, and sons Patrick Lakin Jr., Christopher Lakin and Justin Lakin. Patrick's legacy of love and guidance also lives on through his sister Cathy and her husband, Paul Blanchard. He was a cherished grandfather to six grandchildren: Brody, Nickolah, Harley, Cassidy, Italia, and Lenox Lakin.

An avid enthusiast of motorcycles, fishing, wrestling, and football, Patrick also enjoyed watching Court TV. These hobbies reflected his dynamic and spirited personality, as well as his love for adventure and justice.

Visiting hours will be held from 10 am - 1 pm on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Jones, Rich and Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland, where a Funeral will follow at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in South Portland. The family welcomes all who knew Patrick to join in celebrating his life and memory.
