Paul Boyd

Paul was born on January 20, 1949; the son of the late Charlie and Beatrice Rawlings-Boyd. For over 35 years Paul worked as a truck driver for various companies, and most recently for AMA transport.

Paul loved to work on and restore cars and trucks. In fact working on anything is what Paul loved to do most. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and boxing, but above all he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Paul was always there to help a true friend in need, and will be deeply missed by many.

Predeceasing Paul was a daughter Carrie Moore-Parsons, and three siblings.

Surviving is his loving wife of 28 years Elite Bouchard-Boyd; four daughters, Nerissa E Boyd, Joette Cram Dougherty, Winifred Hartford, Tyechia Bauld, a son James Bouchard, a sister Mabel Boyd, twenty grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A period of visitation for Paul and his family will be held this Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, followed by a 4:00 PM funeral service at the Jones Rich and Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland, ME.
