

Falmouth – Philip Edward Anderson, 56, passed away on January 25, 2011 at his home in Falmouth. Philip was born in Portland, Maine on August 7, 1954, the son of the late Fred Edward and Mary Olivia (Hodges) Anderson.
Philip went to Falmouth Schools, graduating in 1973. He started his automotive career, working at Baston’s garage during and after High School. He began working at ABC Towing in 1980 working there for 27 years. He was a top notch mechanic and known to help his sisters, nieces and other family and friends with car problems whenever needed.
Phil had a deep love for family and was known for helping others out whenever needed and when others might not. There was many a time others lived with him and Barbara as they worked through tough times in their lives.
He is survived by his wife Barbara of Falmouth; sisters, Kathy and husband Tom of Saco, Donna and husband David of Gorham; nieces Danielle and Shannon; stepdaughters, Terri and husband Roy, Deanna and husband Mike; stepsons, Joseph and wife Tammy, Fred; nine grandchildren, eight sister-in-laws, three brother-in-laws and many loving family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation Friday, January 28, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. A Funeral Service will be January 29, 2011 at 11 am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest City Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Philip’s memory, at any of the Bath Savings Institution Locations.
