

Portland – Philip David Bisco 46, passed away unexpectedly January 14, 2017, after battling a brief illness. Philip was born in Westbrook, ME on August 20, 1970, the son of Robert E. Heath and Linda Lee Bisco-Platt.
Philip worked as a self-employed carpenter for most of his life, he was heavily involved in the Portland Little League, serving as a board member and a coach on both of his son’s baseball teams. He was a diehard Red Sox and Chicago Bears fan, and more importantly, he was a devoted husband, father, and friend; who was cherished by his wife and children.
Philip is survived by and will be truly missed by his best friend, loving wife, and soulmate Gretchen (O’Connell) Bisco; daughter, Corey Jo; sons, Anthony Joseph and Jason Daniel; mother, Linda Lee Bisco-Platt and husband Alan of Wallingford, CT; brother, Jason Prescott; father and mother in-law, Joey and Barbara O’Connell of Buxton; brother-in-law, Kyle O’Connell and wife Wendy; their children, Whit and Jack; grandmother, Nina Ellis and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Philip was predeceased by his father, Robert Earl Heath; grandparents, Edward F. Bisco Jr and wife Josephine Bisco, and his grandfather, George D. Ellis and a brother Scott Suddy.
Friends may call from 1-3PM, with a celebration of life starting at 3PM on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral 199 Woodford St. Portland, ME 04103.
