

Portland-Rose Sinclair, 80, formerly of Westbrook, died Sunday at her home. The daughter of Domonic and Clorinda (Ciccarelli) Gaccetta, she was born in Rumford, Maine. She graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford and Westbrook Junior College. Rose relished any time with her children and grandchildren. She lived by a daily routine, and the first part of her routine was always to complete the daily crossword puzzle. She was fond of knitting and reading, and was always up for a spirited card game, especially when she won. She delighted in travel and found joy in exploring new places and museums. She most loved doing anything and everything with her predeceased husband, Andrew Sinclair. They were happily married for 42 years and she cherished every moment. Rose is survived by her son Stephen Sinclair and wife Gayl of Portland, her daughter Debra Sinclair and husband John Cox of Portland, her daughter Karyl Morneau and husband Thomas of Portland, her son James Sinclair and wife Andrea of Sherborn MA, her grandchildren Kristen, Courtney, and Stephanie Sinclair, John Cox, Ryan and Matthew Morneau, and Emily and Kate Sinclair. She is also survived by her twin sister Josephine Gaccetta of South Portland, and her brother Daniel Gaccetta of Scarborough. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation from 10:00 AM -11:30 AM on Friday December 16 at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford Street, Portland. A memorial service will follow immediately at 11:30 A.M. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery 371 Saco St. Westbrook.
