Ruth Marion Ellis

She was born in Portland June 16, 1938 daughter of the late James and Helen Upton Mastroluca.

She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and was a past State President.

She leaves her sister Linda Leyme and her husband Ted, son Roy Hanna and his wife Pamela, daughter Rhonda Nicholson and her husband Glynn, daughter Tracy Weisberg and her husband David, son James Cleaves and his wife Cindy, daughter Layna Proctor and her husband Mark, her son Phillip Libby, 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grand son.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Gene Ellis, her previous husband of 25 years Phillip Libby, her sister Jayne Beckwith and her daughter-in-law Laura Libby.

Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation Tuesday August 30,2011 from 3-6 p.m. at the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Portland. Funeral services will follow at the same location at 6p.m. with the Rev. Phil Shearman officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Westbrook Eagles Diabetes Research Center. Donations may be made out to the Westbrook Aux. #2977, and include DRC/Ruth Libby in the memo section of the check.
