

Portland – William Hubbard was born in Portland to William & Ida Mae (Hanscom) Hubbard. He graduated from high school and went directly into the US Army where he served in Germany. After his tour of duty he came home and started a family. He had two daughters, Winnifred Fuller of California and Toni Hubbard of Portland. In 1966, William married Adrienne Casey and they had two children, Margaret Warden of California and Elvin Lewis of New York.
For many years Bill drove cross country for Allied Van Lines and Haley the Mover. He then retired. He did volunteer driving for Regional Transportation until health issues caused him to stop. He was also a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.
He leaves behind his wife of 50 years Adrienne, his daughters Winifred Fuller, Toni Hubbard, and Margaret Warden, a son Elvin Lewis, a sister, Marjorie Adler, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 3 nieces.
There will be no visiting hours scheduled. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday July 26, 2016 at 11:00A.M. in the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Portland, Maine.
