Alma is survived by her son David M Bierman, sisters Jewel Miller, Joyce Brown, and brother JD Mooneyham. Alma is survived by three grandchildren, Jay D Nix, Roy L Nix, Patricia A Pyne and five great-grandchildren Brianna M Nix, Kelly E Nix, Marcus T Pyne, Kyle J Pyne and Austin D Millim.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Lloyd, Norman, and Leroy Mooneyham, her first husband J.D. Nix, her second husband David D Bierman, and her son James D Nix.
Alma was a retired property manager, she enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with family and friends, she was a beautiful, strong and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she survived breast cancer, and lived independently until her final days. She was a long-time member of Holgate Baptist Church.
The viewing will be held Saturday from 9-5 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral home. Funeral will be Monday March 19th, 2012 at Holgate Baptist Church.
