Anne Lucille Estes

She was born in Boise, Idaho to parents Emory Beetham and Geneva Patterson, on July 24, 1936. Anne graduated from Franklin High School in 1954.

She was married to William Estes on May 15, 1957. They had three sons Michael, William, and Dennis.

Anne was an accomplished member of the Oregon Junior Symphony. She had a passion for playing the violin and piano. Later in life, she shared her passion and talents for music by teaching piano lessons to children. Anne also loved to garden, everything from flowers to vegetables. She put many hardworking hours into cultivating her garden and the land around her home that she was so fond of. Anne was also very proud of the fact that she was able to homeschool her sons, even before homeschooling was popular.

Anne is survived by her beloved children, Michael, William, and Dennis; her grandchildren, Daniel Michelle, Josh, Matthew, and Brett; her sister, Anita Fisher; her foster sister, Sylvia Rawlinson; and her brother, Dennis Beetham. She will be greatly missed and loved by all.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30am, Monday, December 11, 2017, at Lincoln Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Portland, Oregon.
