Ashley is survived by her amazing son Brodie and her loving parents, Mark and Vicki Sears. She is now in heaven with her beloved brother Alec. She left Brodie as her beautiful legacy. He was her entire world.
Everyone who knew Ashley could see her beautiful smile, feel her genuine kindness and were in awe of her positive attitude, even when battling thirteen years of cancer.
Ashley graduated from Oregon State University in 2011. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega.
Ashley loved cheerleading and coaching. Ashley was an amazing artist and loved doing DIY projects, especially with Brodie! She was known for being a fantastic party planner and had an eye for design. Ashley loved her “Dutch Vanilla Freeze” coffee from Dutch Bros.
Ashley enjoyed traveling. Her goal was to take Brodie to Disneyworld. She wanted to share that experience with him and made it happen in April with a big trip to Florida where she and her parents also spent time with her best friend Lauren and family. Ashley also wanted to see Italy where her best friend Brittney lives. She made that happen last summer on an Italy and Greece cruise with her parents and Brodie.
Above all, Ashley loved her son Brodie, her parents, her grandparents, her aunts and uncles, her cousins (who were like sisters to her) and her friends, many of whom she had long lasting friendships with through cheerleading.
She will always have a place in our hearts and would want to be remembered for her love and kindness. Before she passed away, she told her family and some friends that she was “at peace.” That is what we hold onto to give us strength when our hearts are missing her. She will forever be our “little AshyLynn”, our princess.
