Barbara Reed Demski

To all those many who loved Barbara Reed Demski, she loved you too. It causes me great sorrow and grief to tell you that she passed away peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital in Portland, Oregon, on April 5, 2012.

She was born Barbara Reed Scott in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, on September 17, 1939. She is survived by five of the six children she gave birth to; Lynn, Tony, Richard, Phyllis and Dianne. Her youngest son George died in September, 1980 in a car accident. Please know, she loved you all greatly.

She has four surviving sisters; Brenda, Catherine, Faye, and Mary Jo. Do not doubt how much she loved all of you too; despite any distance or differences between you over the years.

She had a big and generous heart and had a great affection for her many cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved you all, please be sure of that.

Although she will be missed greatly, remember her with the same fondness she had for each and every one of you.

She loved roller-skating and bowling when she was young. All her life she was an avid reader; also very witty and funny. Her beautiful smile and warm heart will always be missed.

I tried to attach some pictures of all of her sons and daughters as they were growing up. Also, there is at least one of all of her sisters. I was limited by the number of images I could attach, so if you aren't immediate family, don't fee she didn't love you if a picture of you wasn't included. I cried my eyes out as I went through them; thinking of how much she loved all of you. I do too. Please remember the good times. Pray for her and me as well; for this is the saddest time of my entire life.
