Barbara was born to parents Henry and Barbara Louise (Eder) Freitag in Eldora, Iowa. She came to Oregon and graduated from Roosevelt High School. Barbara retired from Pacific Northwest Bell after 32 years of service, and also worked at Hollywood Fred Meyer in the toy department for 10 years.
She was a member of St. John’s Christian Church and the S.W.A.T. club.
Barbara is survived by 3 daughters, Sheryl Kyle and her husband Robert, Cathy Snyder and Jeannie Tenney and her husband Greg; 3 grandchildren, Josh Kyle, Nichole Kyle and Gary Kyle; 3 great-grandchildren, Devlin Kyle, Hannah Kyle and Mason Kyle. She will also be missed by 1 brother, Bud Freitag and 4 nieces, Karen and her children Nathan and Ashleigh, Linda and her husband Rick with their child Kyle, Susan and her children, Brian, Kyle, Matthen and Sarah, and Nancy with her children, Grant and Miranda.
