With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Betty Jorgensen on September 18, 2025. Throughout her remarkable life, Betty radiated warmth, kindness, and grace. Her gentle spirit, unwavering compassion, and deep appreciation for beauty touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Betty’s journey was defined by her love for family, friends, and the world around her. Central to this journey was the extraordinary partnership she shared with her beloved husband, Harold. Together, Betty and her husband built a life filled with devotion, laughter, and resilience. Their marriage, which spanned 67 years, was a testament to enduring commitment and mutual respect. Side by side, they faced life’s joys and challenges, always supporting one another and expressing gratitude for the abundance of wonderful experiences they enjoyed.
Their home was a place of warmth and welcome, where family and friends gathered, and love was always at the center. Through the seasons of life, Betty and her husband nurtured their children, Ronald Jorgensen and Lore Carvalho (husband Jason), instilling in them the values of kindness, faith, and gratitude. Their legacy continues through their granddaughters, Brittany (husband Scott) and Kaylee (husband Gabe), and great-grandchildren Malia Ana, Jeremiah, Noah, and Alexis, along with great-great-grandchild Eden, all of whom will forever hold their memory close.
Even in her later years, Betty’s smile and positivity shone brightly, inspiring those around her in assisted living and hospice care to cherish each day. Her steadfast faith in God guided her through life’s seasons, giving her strength and hope. Betty’s legacy is one of generosity, empathy, and a profound ability to connect with others—a legacy she and her husband built together.
She is also deeply missed by her sister, Odessa Koitzch, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives she enriched.
As we remember Betty, let us celebrate the life she and her husband shared, embracing every moment, nurturing relationships, and spreading kindness wherever they went. Their life together was a true testament to the power of love, gratitude, and grace.
May their memory be a blessing to all who knew them.
