Betty was the cherished daughter of Wayne and Dortha Montandon. She spent her early years in Eugene before eventually residing in Portland, Oregon.
She married Theodore "Buck" Schaefer, and together they raised their daughter, Janet. Betty took great joy in supporting Janet, especially during her school years, actively participating in her school activities.
Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. Betty was dedicated to her community, hosting a Bible study group at her home, which brought people together and enriched their spiritual lives.
Betty was known for her integrity and was a well-respected and revered member of her community. Her legacy of kindness and dedication will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Betty will be laid to rest with her husband Theodore and daughter Janet at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene, OR.
