

Beverly Jean Bingham, age 71, passed away peacefully at home on March 24, 2025, after being called home by the Heavenly Father. Born on September 15, 1953, in Portland, Oregon, she was raised by her parents, Dorothy and Joseph Edgar. Beverly graduated from Franklin High School and later attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho.
On August 2, 1986, Beverly married the love of her life, David E. Bingham, at the Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Seattle, Washington. Together, they built a loving home and raised a beautiful family. Before starting her family, Beverly worked as a dental assistant. After the birth of her children, she dedicated herself to being a full-time mother until her youngest child reached high school. She later worked for the Portland Public Schools as a food service attendant, where she remained until her retirement in August 2015.
Beverly had many passions in life. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren, especially enjoying visits to the beach with them. Beverly was an avid seamstress and took great pleasure in creating things for her family and friends. She loved traveling to visit family and always looked forward to the joy these trips brought. Above all, Beverly will be remembered for her kindness, and the warmth she shared with everyone she met. She had an incredible ability to make others feel at home around her. She was a giving and friendly soul who loved with an open heart and touched the lives of many.
Beverly is survived by her husband, David E. Bingham; son, Jeremiah Romig; daughter, Jennifer Romig; son, Michael Bingham; and daughter, Amanda Sandberg. She is also survived by her four beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Melody, Jasmine, and Ariel.
A funeral service to honor Beverly's life will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 9901 SE Caruthers St., Portland, Oregon 97216. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Park, 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd, Portland, Oregon 97086.
Beverly’s legacy of love, kindness, and warmth will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
