

The family moved to Portland Oregon in the late 40’s. Bobby graduated from Washington High School. September 18, 1949 Bobby joined AME Zion Methodist Church where he remains a member. In 1953, he enlisted in the US Army and received several Service Medals. March 12, 1960, Bobby decided to settle down and married Miss Corine Beeks (Aberdeen,MS), whom he fondly referred to as “Toots”. Bobby attended Multnomah College and worked a variety of jobs including a Medical Technician before joining team Tri-Met. After 35 years of service Bobby finally decided to retire from Tri-Met. One of Bobby’s favorite things to do was bowling. He played on many leagues, and won many trophies to prove how good he was. Bobby loved traveling, reading and meeting people. He was a people person and loved to talk. He always had a story to tell.
Bobby was preceded in death by his brothers Naymon Lee Scarborough, LeMar Scarborough and his nephews Naymon “Sonny” Lee Scarborough, Edward Nethers Scarborough, and Robert Scarborough.
Bobby is survived by his wife Corine, Brother-in-law Frankie Redding (Susan) Sister-in-law Zelma Scarborough, Niece & Nephew Phyllis & John Ardery, Niece, Katye Scarborough, Great Nieces & Nephews Tina Wade (Daniel) Angela Briggs, Craig Woods (Keake), Crystina Baldwin, Tracie Baldwin, Tiffani Baldwin and Derek Baldwin, Andraea, Ruby, Jeff, Cousin Howard & Ruth Judkins and a host relatives and friends. He will be missed.
