Brad Ellis passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday. Even though Brad had a number of serious medical problems during his life, he always had a positive attitude and will be remembered as a kind, gentle, caring person who was always there with a smile and a helping hand. Brad was born in Portland, where he spent his whole life. He attended Grant High School and later graduated from John Adams High School. Brad is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Ellis. He is survived by his father, Gerald Ellis; sister, Lorri Winger; brother, Randy Ellis, and his wife, Kelli; nephew, Ryan; and nieces Courtney, Jordan, Taylor and Jaylinn. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 9, Ross Hollywood Chapel.
