Brendan Scott Ochs

Brendan Scott Ochs was born in Portland Oregon on July 2, 1956. He passed away at home on March 6, 2016 surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He spent most of his life in Portland, graduated from Jesuit High School in 1974 and Portland State University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Brendan was a co-owner of Acorn Oil Company with his father and worked for Tri-met later in life. Brendan loved seeing as much of the world as possible, he managed to travel to many places including; Australia, South Africa, Norway, Sweden, Hawaii, Ireland and even the “Top of the World”, Barrow Alaska. He took multiple road trips with his Mother and a wonderful cruise on the Queen Mary II. His favorite cities were Monterey, CA and Tucson, AZ. There was never a gentler or kinder person than Brendan, always thoughtful of others around him. He will be missed beyond words.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert John Ochs.

He leaves behind his mother Marilyn Ochs; his brothers Gerry (Cathy) Ochs, Robert (Mary) Ochs and Neil (Dina) Ochs; his sister Julie (Dr. Michael) Bohley and his eight nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of his life announced at a later date. Family and Friends will be notified.
