Carolyn was born, raised and lived in Portland Oregon her whole life. Carolyn was a beautiful baby, the youngest of three children, born to parents, Leland and Marjorie Carr on October 3, 1951. Carolyn attended DA Grout Elementary, Grover Cleveland High School (graduate of 1969) and she attended Portland State University, graduating in 1973.
Carolyn worked with US Government Forestry after college graduation. Carolyn was also an artist during her high school and college years and few years after college. Unfortunately, the mental disease of schizophrenia overtook her health and Carolyn struggled over 50 years with debilitating mental illness.
Carolyn was predeceased by her father, Leland Car; mother, Marjorie Grant, Carr, Wilson; and brother, Gary Carr. She is survived by her older sister, Diane Carr Tatham and four nephews.
Carolyn was a Christian and has gone to resided with God and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ
