Charles E. Smith

Chuck was born in Los Angeles, California on August 25th, 1943 to Irvin and Mae Smith. Chuck graduated from David Douglas High School in Portland, Oregon in 1962. He was married to LaNelda (Lanny) Jo Smith on June 28th, 1963.

Chuck was survived by his wife and children Charles (Chaz) Irvin Smith, Jason Edmond Smith, and Chere’e Lynn Smith; his grandchildren Amanda Mae Smith, Austin Charles Smith, Echo Jean Smith, and Wyatt Edmond Smith.

Chuck was the owner and worker of Tri-State Automotive Products, Inc. in Portland, Oregon. He belonged to the National Corvette Restorers Society and the Datsun 510 Club. His hobbies included collecting classic cars and participating in cruise in’s. He enjoyed off road dirt biking and exploring the outdoors.

Chuck was a great man, a perfect husband, a wonderful father and grandfather, and a good friend. He will be missed by all whose lives he’s touched.

There will be a memorial service in his honor at his home, 29380 SE Old Ranch Drive, Estacada OR, on Sunday, June 22nd, 2014 from 2pm-5pm. Please join us in celebrating the “Life of Chuck”.
