Claude Andrew Thomas was born December 25, 1947. He departed life August 16, 2021 He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to parents Claude and Katherine Thomas. He was a 1965 graduate of Bethune High School and shortly after joined the Navy where he served for several years. Claude was a faithful member of the Pineville Baptist Church, and served as a senior Deacon.
He was married to Cynthia in November 1969, and then moved to Dallas, Texas. To the marriage, three children were born.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Claude and Katherine Thomas; two brothers, Marvin Carl Thomas and Esco Larry Thomas; and a sister, Beverly Washington.
He leaves to cherish all of his loving memories his beautiful wife Cynthia; sister Cleaster Winters (Willie) of Desoto, Texas; children Yolanda, Andrea, and Claude III, all of Vancouver, Washington; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and loving friends.
